Power Outage: Metro Halts Gold Line Service In East LA

Metro is reporting that a power outage caused by a lightening strike in downtown Los Angeles has forced the suspension of train service for the Gold Line between the Mariachi Plaza and Maravilla Stations in East Los Angeles.

Buses were brought in to shuttle passengers between the two stations until power is restored.
