Six Teams Show Interest In Running Wilson High School
By EGP News Report
The most recent cycle of the Los Angeles Unified School District’s (LAUSD) Public School Choice reform (PSC) has collected more than 200 letters from applicant teams that want to be considered to improve 22 low-achieving “focus schools,” or run 15 new campuses.
Wilson High School in El Sereno is the only school in EGP’s coverage area up for reform this time around. Six applicant teams have shown interest in the school, they are: Chinese American Teachers Association; Law and Justice Academy (Brendan Wagner); Pathways-to-Success; Woodrow HS (Ursula Rosin); United Teachers Los Angeles and the Youth Policy Institute.
The final applications are due October 14. For the latest Public School Choice information, visit: http://publicschoolchoice.lausd.netPrint This Post
