Alhambra Fire Guts Seafood Restaurant

ALHAMBRA (CNS) - A fire gutted the Blue Ocean Seafood Restaurant in Alhambra today, but no one was hurt. Firefighters were sent to 1412 S. Garfield Ave. at 7:41 a.m., according to the Alhambra Fire Department. Crews from the Alhambra, Monterey Park, Pasadena and Los Angeles County fire departments prevented the flames from spreading to adjacent buildings. Firefighters gained the upper hand on the fire in about three hours, but remained on scene afterward dousing hot spots. The cause of the fire was under investigation.A damage estimate was not immediately released. (Photo EGPNews/Fred Zermeno)
