Sheriff’s Investigating Murder of Elderly Monterey Park Woman

(CNS) Authorities are seeking the public’s help to solve the shooting death of an 82-year-old woman in Monterey Park.
Xiyong Yong Huang was found dead at about 4:20 p.m. April 29 at the shooting scene in the 300 block of Huntington Avenue, according to the sheriff’s department.
Authorities planned a news conference later today to release a sketch of the victim’s stolen jewelry and purse.
Anyone knowing more about the crime was urged to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau, (323) 890-5500.
