(CNS) A motorist who had been driving recklessly led deputies Tuesday on a short chase that ended when she crashed into a curb in Boyle Heights and suffered minor injuries, authorities said.

Deputies on patrol spotted a car swerving and going through stop signs around 12:30 a.m. and started pursuing the driver at Woods Avenue and Whittier Boulevard, said Lt. Tim Carr of the sheriff’s East Los Angeles Station.

The driver did not stop until the car hit a curb at Mirasol Street and Olympic Boulevard a few minutes later, Carr said.
