Free ‘Hot Nights’ Salsa and Mariachi Music This Saturday At Cal State LA

Cal State LA Faculty Collective “Hot Nights: A Salsa & Mariachi Performance,” a picante concert weaving together a “beautifully narrative thread” about cultural influences and history of the music will be free to the public this Saturday, March 17 starting at 7:30pm. The collective will perform at the State Playhouse on CSULA campus.

CSULA faculty musical directors Paul De Castro and Cynthia Reifler Flores will lead the concert featuring a narrative presentation written by literature professor Gastón Alzate and performing arts professor José Cruz González.
