Nearly every city has a local chamber of commerce, if not more than one. And while some of the local issues might vary from city to city, there are some issues that can impact businesses across a region, state or even nationally.
There is also a lot that can be learned by networking with other businesses, sharing resources, and supporting fellow small business owners.
This month, several chambers of commerce will participate in two separate multi-chamber networking events that will bring together business owners from several adjoining communities.
Commerce, Montebello, Pico Rivera
The first will take place on Wednesday, April 12, and is being hosted by the Commerce Industrial Council, Pico Rivera and Montebello chambers of commerce.
According to the Commerce Industrial Council, over 100 “business-minded people” attended the group’s first quarter breakfasts, “meeting new contacts while developing new leads.” The April 12 event is intended to provide attendees with a new opportunity to expand professional connections.
The Multi-Network breakfast will be sponsored by, and held at HomeTown Buffet: 877 N. Wilcox Ave., Montebello, CA 90640, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., (registration starts at 7:00 a.m.).
