Trutanich Files Papers to Run for Second Term

By City News Service

City Attorney Carmen Trutanich has filed papers with the L.A. City Ethics Commission allowing him to raise money for a re-election campaign.

Trutanich will battle to keep his job in a four-way race with Assemblyman Mike Feuer, D-West Hollywood, Eduardo Angeles, a former senior assistant city attorney, and attorney Gregory Smith, who has represented Los Angeles police officers and firefighters in lawsuits against the city.

Trutanich said he would run on his record of protecting public safety, guarding the city’s treasury and doing more with less.
