Contractors Invited to Free Compliance Summit

Construction contractors are invited to attend the free Southern California Construction Compliance Summit being held Sept. 27 from 9am-1pm to learn more about compliance issues and potential solutions.

The event is sponsored by the United Job Creation Council; the National Association of Minority Contractors, Southern California; and Playa Vista Job Opportunities and Business Services (PVJOBS) and will be held at the Carson Community Center: 3 Civic Plaza, Carson, California.

Government agency representatives, leaders of community-based organizations and other prominent community members will be leading discussions on topics ranging from the new norm of hiring local and disadvantaged workers, and the difference between union and nonunion contracting.
