“Thanksgiving is a very special time of year – a time for family, friends and of course, turkey! That’s why it is so great that we are able to help spread the warmth of this holiday by providing turkeys to families who otherwise would not be able to have one. This is my eleventh year hosting Operation Gobble, and every year I am struck by the outpouring of goodwill that we see from so many wonderful organizations in our community. I want to thank the San Gabriel Valley Water Company, Rosemead Garvey Center, the San Gabriel Valley Conservation Corps, and all of the other local organizations that helped make this day such a success,” Chu said in a press release.
