Avenue 50 Studio’s 8” x 8” Square Benefit Art Auction will be held Dec. 8, 7-10pm in the Annex Galley: 131 N. Ave. 50, Los Angeles (Highland Park) 90042. New Date—Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels will be held on the eve of her Feast Day, Dec. 11 starting at 8pm, culminating with a midnight Mass at 12 am on 12-12-12. The festivities include Aztec dancers paying homage to the Blessed Mother; a concert by the Young Musicians Foundation Debut Orchestra & the Cathedral Spanish Choir. At 11pm. Mariachi Los Reyes & the Cathedral Spanish Choir serenade the Virgin and sing “Las Mañanitas.” Festivities will conclude with a midnight Mass celebrated by Archbishop José Gomez.

The Anthony Quinn Library present LA Opera Talks: A Kid’s Introduction to Opera on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 4:00 p.m. The interactive program introduces the exciting world of opera to school-age children, teens, and their parents.
