A man was in custody Wednesday for allegedly killing his brother and another man in Boyle Heights.

The shooting, which occurred around 4 p.m. Tuesday at 3301 Hunter St., involved a “family dispute,” said Los Angeles police Officer Cleon Joseph, who did not elaborate.

Gustavo Lopez, 29, died at the scene, and Rafael Aguilar, 22, died at a hospital, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. Both men were from Los Angeles.

Israel Lopez, 25, was booked on suspicion of murder, with bail set at $1 million.
