Retro cars, horses and dance performers took over North Broadway in Lincoln Heights on Sunday during the 9th Annual Lincoln Heights Holiday Parade and Festival.
Crowds of people watched from the sidewalks as the parade traveled from Lincoln Park Avenue to Avenue 24.
Dino’s Bomb Squad, pictured above, with over a dozen classic cars in the parade, traveled the parade route, playing sirens and showing off their hydraulics to the spectators.
Parade organizer Sevin Riley told EGP that over 70 groups participated this year.
“We wanted a celebration for everyone to participate and for the community to come out,” Riley said. “The turnout was better than ever.”
