Children Celebrate ‘Dia de Los Reyes’ in Bell Gardens

By EGP News

Jessica Vargas shows off the baby Jesus that she found in her piece of “rosca” bread this past week at the Bell Gardens Library. She and a group of children joined Librarian Jeffrey Weinstein in celebrating “El Dia De Los Reyes Magos” (The Feast of the Epiphany) on Jan. 5. Weinstein read books to the children, held a game of bingo and served the children who participated, a slice of the traditional “Rosca de Reyes” (King’s Ring Cake) pastry.
