By EGP News

The East Los Angeles College Athletic Department will hold a benefit golf tournament Jan. 7 at the Montebello Country Club, with contributions to be used to support ELAC’s participation in recognized competitions and the purchase of equipment and uniforms. Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca, an alumnus of the college and the El Monte Dukes baseball organization, will be honored at the tournament.

“This is our first East Los Angeles College Golf Classic and it’s going to be an annual event,” Athletic Director Al Cone said.

The cost for an individual player is $125. Dinner-only tickets are available for $40. To register for the tournament or for more information, contact Al Cone at (323) 265-8913 or coneaj@elac.edu.
