“My staff and I are always pleased to assist you with questions or problems that you might have with federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Social Security Administration, or the Internal Revenue Service,” said Roybal-Allard, who represents the 40th Congressional District that includes the communities of Bell, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Cudahy, Downey, East Los Angeles, Florence-Graham, Huntington Park, Maywood, Paramount, South Los Angeles, Vernon and parts of Bellflower and Walnut Park . She added that her constituent caseworkers are available to help with issues related to Social Security and Medicare benefits, immigration visas and veterans’ benefits.

The congresswoman noted that while she “cannot order a federal agency to decide a matter in your favor, we can help you get a response.”

Assistance is also available at the Roybal-Allard’s District Office (500 Citadel Dr., Ste. 320, Commerce, CA 90040) during regular business hours. On the fourth Tuesday of the month, assistance is available from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at East Los Angeles County Hall, 4801 E. Third St., Los Angeles, CA 90022. Time and location subject to change, so call the district office to confirm, and for additional locations, dates and times: (323) 721-8790.
