Noon-5pm —Annual Blessing of the Animals at Olvera Street in Downtown Los Angeles. This centuries-old tradition of blessing the animals for the benefits they provide mankind, has been celebrated in the Plaza since 1930. All pets welcome. Live Entertainment.     I wish I would of known of this before. I would of gladly taken my seven dogs to be blessed.

    This event happens every year on the day before Easter.
