Help Available Today to Struggling Wells Fargo Mortgage Holders

By EGP News

Wells Fargo & Company’s is holding free Home Preservation Workshop for Southern California Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Wells Fargo Financial, and Wells Fargo Home Equity today for customers facing financial hardships.

The workshop offers free assistance to help avoid foreclosure, according to a Wells Fargo press release. Some participants could receive modifications or other workout options on the spot, provided they come prepared with all the needed documents. Bilingual assistance is available.

Homeowners whose loans are “under water” – meaning they owe more on their mortgage than the value of their home – may be eligible to refinance their loan if they meet certain criteria, such as being able to show the ability to repay the loan.

Depending on eligibility for a loan modification, homeowners who are behind on their payments may also receive a principal reduction on their mortgage.

The workshop is taking from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in West Hall B at the Convention Center: 1201 W. Figueroa St., Los Angeles. Parking is free for people attending the workshop.
