Man Shot to Death in Lincoln Heights Identified

By City News Service

A man who was fatally shot in a parking lot in the Lincoln Heights area of Los Angeles was identified Monday as thirty-six-year-old David Cavazos, 36, of Los Angeles.

Cavazos died at a hospital shortly after the shooting, which occurred about 4:45 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of North Mission Road, according to the coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department.

There were no arrests, according to LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman of the Media Relations office.

Cavazos was shot during a dispute with one or more suspects, Eisenman said. Anyone with more information on the crime was urged to call police.

This was not in Lincoln Heights, this was at downtown 7th st lockouts building.

It is unspecified reason as to why he was killed. So please do not state that he was in a dispute.
