Five former Bell city officials have been convicted of various counts of misappropriation of public funds and acquitted on others, while former Councilman Luis Artiga has been acquitted of all charges stemming from the massive corruption case. Former Councilman George Cole has been convicted of two counts and acquitted of one, while former Councilman Victor Bello is guilty of four counts and acquitted on four others.
