Members of the Franklin High School ROTC took part in the Memorial Day Observance at the Cypress Park Veterans Memorial. They are pictured folding a U.S. flag replaced by a new flag, a tradition dating back to the park’s opening during Ed Reyes’ tenure as the area’s councilman. The community also honored Reyes with a standing ovation for his 12 years of service on the city council.
