232nd Birthday Celebration of the Founding of the City of Los Angeles. Event will include a Walk & Ride from the Mission San Gabriel to El Pueblo/Olvera Street in downtown L.A. where the festivities will continue with live music, a birthday cake, a free tree giveaway from Million Trees LA and more. Walk starts at 6am from the Mission – 428 S Mission Dr, San Gabriel, 91776; Bicyclists meet at 7:30 am & leave at 8am. Celebration at Olvera Street will start at 10am. Stay for the day and enjoy great food, shopping and entertainment at the historical plaza easily reached by Metro: Union Station stop.   For info, call  (213)485-8372.
