4pm—79th East Los Angeles Classic football game between Roosevelt & Garfield Highs Schools will be held at East LA College Weingart Stadium. The famed annual showdown between the two rivals is also both schools’ homecoming. Junior varsity game is at 4pm; varsity plays at 7pm. Stadium is located at 1301 Avenida Cesar Chavez, Monterey Park.

12 Noon—LADWP Centennial Celebration of L.A. Aqueduct. Attend open house and live broadcast of the Cascades Re-enactment. For 100 years, William Mullholand’s engineering marvel, the L.A. On Sunday, Nov. 10, the Marine Corps Veterans of American Legion Post 804 Celebrate founding of the United States Marine Corps 238 years ago on the 10th of November 1775.  The event starts at 5pm with a flag raising ceremony followed by food, refreshment & music.
