By EGP Staff Report

Have a question you’ve been wanting to ask a doctor? Need your blood pressure checked? Or maybe you have been wanting to learn CPR but weren’t sure where to go so you just keep putting it off.

On Saturday, Oct. 19, Beverly Hospital in Montebello will host its Fall Community Wellness Fair where you will be able to get many of your questions answered, or take advantage of a number of free or low-cost health screenings.

Beverly Hospital says the Wellness Fair is aimed at helping participants to “Get Healthy, Stay Active.”  It is free and open to the public.

In addition to free pulmonary, diabetic foot, blood pressure and glucose screenings, the hospital will also offer free flu vaccines to adults on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.  They will also run a Blood Chemistry Panel for just $25.

The event will also include free health lectures, exercise demonstrations, information booths, and CPR for family and friends.

The Wellness Fair will be open from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Beverly Hospital is located at 101 E. Beverly Blvd., Montebello, CA 90640. For more information, call (800) 618-6664.
