Montebello police Wednesday circulated fliers of three unrelated suspects being sought for allegedly sexual abuse of children, either members of their own family or acquaintances.
“We have come to dead ends with these cases,” said Sgt. Julio Calleros in explaining why the department was appealing to the public for help.
The crimes date back as far back as 2011, according to Calleros, who said it is important to locate the suspects before they commit similar alleged crimes.
The three are:
—Jose Luis Pineda, alleged to have molested a 7-year-old girl. He is believed to be driving a gray Nissan Altima with tinted windows and is wanted on two outstanding felony arrest warrants.
—Paul Angel Candelas is wanted for allegedly having sexual contact with a 6-year-old girl. A felony warrant has been issued; and
—Hector Huerta, who is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl. A $300,000 warrant is out for his arrest. Huerta, a diesel mechanic, was last seen in Los Angeles last March and has ties to Riverside, San Diego, Texas and Mexico.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of any of the suspects was asked to call Montebello police at (323) 887-1313.
