4-8pm—Monterey Park Weekly Certified Farmers Market. Farmers and vendors will offer fresh, locally grown produce, flowers, nuts, honey and more. Event also features hot food and live entertainment.  6-10pm—Ford Theatre Foundation J.A.M. Session and Family Movie Night at East LA Civic Center. Move, groove, & play with professional dancers then take in a free outdoor family-friendly movie. 3-5pm—League of Women Voters Pasadena Area 4th Annual Ice Cream Social Fundraiser at the group’s new Western Justice Center offices: 55 S. Grand Ave, Pasadena. Children & adults will enjoy giant Fosselman’s ice cream sundaes or scoops of sorbet for just $10 for the first adult family member and $5 for each additional person over 13; under 13 are free; $5 for students & low-income people. Tuesday, July 22

6:30pm—Meet New Eastside Neighborhood Prosecutor Cynthia Gonzalez at Boyle Heights City Hall. Neighborhood prosecutors work with the LAPD & other city agencies on quality of life issues. Gonzalez is responsible for areas covered by the Hollenbeck Police Station, such as Aliso Village, Boyle Heights, El Sereno, Estrada Courts, Hermon, Hillside Village, Lincoln Heights, Montecito Heights, Monterey Hills, Pico Gardens, Ramona Gardens, Rose Hills Courts & University Hills. Monterey Park’s First Night Market at Barnes Park on July 25. New monthly event will  feature food, entertainment, art exhibits, games & the city’s first beer and wine garden. Time:5-10:30pm. Free Admission. Park is located at 350 S. McPherrin Ave.

July 26 Is Retirement Planning Day at Wells Fargo Banks open on Saturdays.
