East LA Man Stabbed in Residence

A fight in East Los Angeles today left a 50-year-old man dead and the suspect in critical condition.

The argument over property turned physical on Wednesday at 11:17 a.m. in the driveway of a residence in the 1300 block of Server Avenue when one man drew a large knife and stabbed a 50-year-old man in the abdomen, said Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect also sustained a stab wound and was taken to a hospital in critical condition, Navarro-Suarez said.

The weapon was recovered.
