Admission is free to more than 20 museums, including the Annenberg Space for Photography; California African American Museum; California Science Center; Craft & Folk Art Museum; Hammer Museum; Japanese American Cultural & Community Center; LA County Museum of Art; Museum of Tolerance; Santa Monica Museum of Art; USC Pacific Asia Museum and many others. 11am-5pm—5th Annual Lunar New Year Festival at the USC Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena. The free event celebrating the Year of the Sheep will feature performances, crafts, a puppet show, artist demonstrations and access to the museum galleries. 5-10pm–Night on Broadway. Celebrating the 7th Anniversary of the Bringing Back Broadway Initiative. Celebration will feature booths, art exhibits, a vintage car show, food trucks and programming in six of Broadway’s historic and often closed-to-the-public theatres including the Million Dollar, Los Angeles, Palace, Tower, Orpheum, and the Theatre at Ace Hotel. 3pm—Cal State L.A. Panel Discussion, “Rubén Salazar – Siempre Con Nosotros/Always With Us.” Featured special guests Dr. Félix Gutiérrez and Dr. Mario T. García, who will review the words and works of Rubén Salazar. The discussion is being held in conjunction with a multimedia exhibition, “Legacy of Rubén Salazar: A Man of His Words, a Man of His Time,” on display at the University’s John F.
