Property Tax Deadline April 11

The last day to pay the second installment of the 2015-2016 property taxes without incurring penalties is April 11, Los Angeles County Treasurer and Tax Collector Joseph Kelly reminded property owners.

Payments become deliquent if not received or postemarked by the U.S. Postal Service by  5 p.m. April 11, according to Kelly. The filing period was extended one day because the usual April 10 deadline falls on a Sunday.

Taxpayers have the option to pay their bill online at,and select Pay Online” under “Payment Options.” A personal Identification Number (PIN) is required  and can be found on the ownerner’s tax bill. Property owners who need to find out how much they owe can visit the Treasurer and Tax Collector’s website: or by calling toll free 1-888-807-2111, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
