Man Killed When Jeep Overturns on 710 Freeway

BELL GARDENS (CNS) – Authorities Monday identified a motorist who was killed when his Jeep crashed and overturned on the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in Bell Gardens.

Hugo Pereyra, 26, of Los Angeles died at the scene of the solo vehicle crash, which occurred about 5 a.m. Sunday at Florence Avenue, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

California Highway Patrol officers found the 1994 Jeep Cherokee on its roof in the number four lane of traffic.

Anyone with information on the crash was urged to call the CHP’s East Los Angeles Area office at (323) 980-4600.
