Stabbing Death In South Gate

A man who was fatally stabbed in South Gate was identified Wednesday as Will Navarro-Leiva.

The crime was reported about 5:50 p.m. Monday in the 7300 block of Cloverlawn Drive, said Deputy Guillermina Saldana of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which was assisting South Gate police in the investigation

Navarro-Leiva, 40, of South Gate died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

No arrests were reported. Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
