42 year-old Oscar Manuel Iturralde has been arrested under suspicion of Indecent Exposure and Stalking. He was booked at the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station on July 3 and was being held in lieu of $300,000 bail.

According to the July 10 press release, at approximately 8:15pm on July 1 a girl and her younger brother were walking on Hubbard Street near Atlantic Boulevard in East LA when a man driving a white Toyota pick-up called to the girl and told her to look at him as he exposed himself. The victim called 9-1-1 on her phone and the suspect drove away.

East Los Angeles detectives were able to use the partial license plate obtained by the victims and traced the vehicle to Iturralde, the registered owner.

Iturralde is suspected of other incidents of exposure in the past few months, targeting female teenagers as they walk to school, according to the Sheriffs’ Department. Those cases are being investigated by the Los Angeles City School Police, the press release states.

Detectives believe there could be more victims and are asking them to step forward. Victims or witnesses are asked to call Sergeant Soto or Detective Villanueva of East LA Sheriff’s Station at (323) 981-5354 or (323) 981-5052.
